Ok, first my car gets rammed from the rear, then the washer breaks, then the dryer, now I come home from lunch and the hot water heater is leaking. That, of course, is a sign of terminal illness in a water heater, so off to the plumber I must go. It is not the cost of it that irks me so much as the hassle of getting it scheduled and done and keeping the house running and not having the gas blow us up if the pilot goes off, etc. Well, I should go back to work. Bummer.
